Eye Examination

An eye examination is much more than a test of your vision. It can also identify any issues you may have with your eye health and even your general health, before you may have become aware of them.

How often should I have an eye examination?

The majority of people should have their eyes examined at least every two years. Others depending on their circumstances may require an eye examination sooner.

Can I have an eye examination at home?

If you, or someone you care for is unable to visit the practice because of physical or mental disability, we may be able to arrange a home visit. If you have a medical card it may cover the cost of a home visit. Contact us for more information.

If you are a PAYE worker or self employed you may be entitled to a free eye examination and spectacles using your PRSI. Contact us and we can check if your are eligible.
